Ava Boji grew up dancing at Kelley’s Dance Craze in Wixom, MI and is currently going into her sophomore year in Oakland University’s Dance Department where she is currently pursuing a BFA. While at OU, she has performed with Oakland Dance Theater and worked with many talented dancers and choreographers such as Gregory Patterson, Teresa Muller, Christina Tasco, Elizabeth Riga, and Denise Caston. She has taken advantage of extra training opportunities, including American College Dance Association, ConteXture Dance Detroit Winter and Spring Workshops, and Oakland Dance Festival. Ava participated in ConteXture Dance Detroit’s Pre-Professional Summer Program, where she got to work with Tracy Halloran and Kylie Vinitski and perform in ConteXture’s eXistere concert. Alongside her training and performing, she is a dance instructor at her home studio. Ava is excited to be working with ConteXture this season!
