ConteXture Dance Detroit aims to contribute to and help develop a community of acclaimed dancers based in Detroit. We aim to explore and expand the urban dance scene in Detroit, not only through our performances, but also through advanced training initiatives and community programming. That’s where ConneXtions comes in.
ConneXtions allows us to bring together all of our community initiatives such as the following:

This season, we are increasing our efforts to provide more artistic opportunities in our community, and in turn, we also require funds to ensure these programs are successful. Below is a specific breakdown of all of our community projects planned for this season.
