Macy Friemoth

Macy Friemoth is from Perrysburg, Ohio, where she grew up dancing at Perrysburg Dance Academy. She is entering her sophomore year at Oakland University, and is pursuing a BFA in Dance. So far, during her time in Oakland University’s Dance Department, she has performed with Oakland Dance Theater, and she has worked with talented choreographers like Teresa Muller, Christina Tasco, Elizabeth Riga, Laurie Eisenhower, and Christa Smutek. In the second semester of her freshman year, she was elected to be the Freshman Representative for the D.A.N.C.E.R.S. Board, and she is now serving as the Department Ambassador. Macy has performed and taken classes at the American College Dance Association, performed at Echos and Expressions hosted by Eisenhower Dance Detroit, and she will be performing at Dumbo Dance Festival this summer as a founding company member of June’s Creative Expressions. Macy is very excited to be working with ConteXture this summer!
