Meghan Cloutier

Originally from Wixom, Michigan, Meghan Cloutier is a performing artist based in both Detroit and New York City. A recent graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Dance Theatre Conservatory, she had the privilege of training under artists including Rebecca Arends, Casey Colgan, Ramon Galindo, Jody Raynard, and Jena VanElslander. Dedicated to being a well-rounded performer, Meghan is also very passionate about singing, and acting. This season marks her third with Contexture Dance Detroit and her first as a company member. She has previously performed in the company’s 10th and 11th annual concerts, performing both in company works and the Darling Endowment. In the fall, she performed inner:DETROIT:visions, choreographed by Tracy Halloran, at the Detroit Dance City Festival. In addition to performing, Meghan is currently pursuing her NASM personal trainer certification, aiming to deepen her understanding of cross-training for dancers and to promote career longevity within the industry. Beyond the stage, she is an advocate for increasing accessibility in the performing arts and is committed to fostering inclusive creative spaces. Meghan is thrilled to begin this next chapter with Contexture and looks forward to an amazing season ahead!
