Riley McClain

Riley McClain is a versatile dancer originally from Battle Creek, Michigan, where she began her dance training at the age of three. She has extensive experience in a range of styles, including jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet, and competed throughout her formative years. Riley earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Oakland University in December 2022. During her time at OU, she interned with TakeRoot Dance Company, contributing to their fundraising efforts and assisting with their Dance for Parkinson’s outreach program. She performed for three seasons with Oakland Dance Theater and joined the Oakland Repertory Dance Company in her senior year. Her choreography was featured at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) Conference in March 2022. Following graduation, Riley danced with ArtLab J for three seasons and is now in her fourth season with Contexture Dance Detroit. She continues to develop her artistry through performance, collaboration, and community engagement.
