Katelyn Mahaffey

Katelyn Mahaffey has been dancing since the age of three. Realizing dance was more than just a hobby, she attended Marygrove College where she majored in dance. After learning from talented professors and guest choreographers, she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017. Throughout her college dance career and beyond, Katelyn has enjoyed many professional performances including stage, screen, and music videos. Katelyn has been with ConteXture dance Detroit since 2016. She has also performed alongside several bands including Your Generation in Concert, and BAND/J Entertainment. Wanting to further her career, Katelyn graduated from Madonna University in 2021 with a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and became a Registered Dietitian in April 2022. Outside of the dance studio, Katelyn enjoys working as a dietitian, personal trainer, and fitness instructor. Katelyn is grateful for the opportunity to dance with ConteXture for another season and do what she loves.
