Madeline Williams

Madeline Williams is a Detroit-based dance teacher, choreographer, and performer holding a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Business with a minor in Dance Pedagogy from Hope College. She is excited to dance with ConteXture Dance Detroit as an Apprentice in the company’s twelfth season. Additionally, Madeline is a recipient of Hope College’s esteemed Florence Cavanaugh Dance Award, highlighting her efforts towards dance education. Her choreography has been featured at the American College Dance Association East-Central Conference, at Detroit Dance City Festival, and in Paris, France. During her time at Hope College, Williams was a Company Member of H2 Dance Company and StrikeTime Dance Theatre with whom she performed both live and on film. In her senior year, she danced as an Apprentice with Currents Dance Theatre based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Madeline has had the chance to attend intensives from companies including Eisenhower Dance Detroit, Water Street Dance Milwaukee, and Joffrey Spectrum. Madeline is thankful for the support of her family and friends in helping her reach her goals and hopes to honor them through her artistic ventures.
