Alex Negron

Alex Negron is from Garden City, MI. He has been dancing since he was eight years old. As dance grew into a passion for him, he decided to pursue a BFA in dance at Wayne State University, and is now going into his second year.  At Wayne State, he has worked with Lisa Lamarre Wilmot in Company One, touring and performing for local schools K-12.  Along with this at WSU, he has performed the work of the faculty member, Dr. Ras Mikey Courtney. In addition to being a student, he guest teaches at local studios for a variety of ages. Alex has had his choreography showcased on competition stages, Suttle Dance Company’s concert, and the Reciprocal Visions showcase. This is his first season with Contexture, but he worked with Kylie Moore and Tracy Halloran as a member of CPSP last season. He is excited to learn and grow with Contexture this summer!
